Opening: Tel’veh Cafe & Wine Bar

As a resident of Mt. Vernon Triangle (and more specifically 30 feet away from this location), I am very excited to hear that Tel’veh Cafe & Wine Bar is slated to open TODAY, Monday, May 21. Latif Guler and the team behind Agora in Dupont Circle has brought their Mediterranean flair to Mt. Vernon Triangle with a beautifully designed cafe, a Mediterranean-influenced menu as well as 300 wines by the bottle, 50 by the glass and a Vinotemp wine dispenser.
Chef Ghassan Jarrouj, the chef behind the menu at Agora, has prepared a delectable menu for Tel’veh Cafe & Wine Bar. The cafe will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with menu items such as roasted lamb and a prosciutto sandwich with fresh mozzarella and fig jam.
The design of the cafe is meant to evoke a nautical feel with ropelines above the bar, wood beams and blue accents. There are 12 seats at the bar, 60 seats in the cafe and the option to dine al fresco as you ‘people watch’ at the corner of 4th and Mass, NW.
